PvE Hero Monk builds ?
Understandable that RC and all condition healing are good on monk heroes...
but what about those healing heroes?
Which is better... low energy fast recharge heal elites (Like Glimmer of Light? or, word of healing paired with a high energy spell such as heal other/jamei's gaze)...
If not, whats a good hero monk build?... I'm having trouble just making a good one for all my characters.

If you're feeling l33t you can fill up the blank skills with prots, hex and condition removals... but heroes suck with them so I end up disabling them and manually casting [[protective [email protected]] is need be.

[build prof=Mo heal=12+1+1 prot=10+1 div=8+1][reversal of fortune][word of healing][dismiss condition][guardian][vigorous spirit][shield of absorption][protective spirit][cure hex][/build]
But tbh N/Rts are better.

[build prof=Mo/Ele heal=12+1+1 prot=3 div=12][healer's boon][dwaynas kiss][ethereal light][cure hex][heal party][signet of rejuvenation][glyph of lesser energy][rebirth][/build]
Rebirth stays disabled at all times, use it after fighting if needed or if a party wipes and you need to res allies out of aggro.
Cure Hex is good for the added healing after a hex is removed which in most cases will be needed. Not to mention when used mid battle all healing is welcome!
Ethereal Light could be swapped out for Jamei's Gaze but that costs 10 energy and charges in 3secs which could be an energy issue for your hero.
Heal Party isn't amazing but it can be helpfull. You could swap it out for Words of Comfort for another low energy semi-spammable skill.
The signet is a great skill to use on a Hero, costs no energy and heals for a nice amount. Plus in PvE its easy to get the bonus healing and heroes use it extremely well i find.
GoLE is used mainly to reduce heal parties energy costs, but could be swapped for something you prefer. And if you dont take heal party then you can just put in a condition removal skill.
You will notice no condition removal skills, thats because i generally have mending touch on my bar at all times.

[Word Of Healing] [Ethereal Light] [Signet of Rejuvenation] [Cure Hex] [Heal Party] [Glyph of Lesser Energy] [Holy Haste] and soem kind of rezz
probably could be better, but that's what i use and it works great for me
But usually i prefer N/Rt's over these monks

I don't like Heal Party on my Healer's Boon healer. I instead go for Healing Ribbon. The rest of the bar is Etheral Light, Dwayna's Kiss, Patient Spirit, Cure Hex, Signet of Rejuvenation, Healer's Boon, and Resurrection Chant.

Removing Heal Party off a Healer's Boon bar is the worst thing you can do, as the main aim of it is to be able to have a strong party heal.
If you're running it for heals like that, you might as well go WoH.
And Leprachaun, remove res from those bars!
Anyway, if I do take a hero Monk I often use:
[aegis][mending touch][glyph of lesser energy][gift of health][protective spirit][holy veil][shield of absorption][restore condition]
(Attribs: 12+1+1 Prot, 10+1 Divine, 8+1 Healing)
Or:
[aegis][word of healing][glyph of lesser energy][protective spirit][shield of absorption][dwaynas kiss][cure hex][dismiss condition]
(Attribs: 12+1+1 Healing, 10+1 Prot, 8+1 Divine)
If you're using both, remove Dismiss from the WoH and put in another prot such as Guardian.
For the first build I set Mending Touch to a macro and use it on the RC when needed.

As status quo as it gets:
[word of healing][dwayna's kiss][signet of rejuvenation][dismiss condition][cure hex][shield of absorption][Aegis]+ optional slot
Options for optional slot are many: [glyph of lesser energy], [protective spirit] (red barred & micromanaged), [spirit bond] (red barred and micro managed), [guardian], [shielding hands], [vigorous spirit], some kind of rez if you're into that, etc. etc.
Attributes are generally 14heal/10prot/10df, with slight variations depending in your optional skill (need 11 prot if you want Guardian, for example).

They use condition and hex removal fairly well, so [cure hex], [remove hex], and some kind of condition removal does work. [Purge Conditions] if you don't want to spec into protection.

Agreed, look @ recharge times.
And not to burst anyone's bubble here, but lately I've been using an [ether renewal] ele hero more than my old prot monk, thalkora and I have been noticing a big difference in how much dmg our team takes.

Honestly if you have a necro in the team there is no point having condition removal on the monk.
Put Foul feast on the necro and Pure was li ming/Extinguish if you want.

I have been running this on my Monk (until a get a Rit) hero and have been happy with it:
[build=OwUTMwHD1p1dXXJzku4yPDgGBA]
Pretty straight forward and I haven't really had any e-management issues. I used to run with [[Protective Spirit], but since I play with a MM human it got out of hand. She has been much more well behaved since I replace it with RoF though. If it starts to get melee heavy, I'll switch it out with [[Aegis]. She also uses Kepkhet's Refuge, so that helps. ^_^
Also, she is backed up by:
[build=OgRDcWy8OpiTxO0OsK6zIDYB]
So there is enough opportunity for her to catch a knocked down opponent for [[Waste Not, Want Not].

This is what I have been using on my Monk hero as a Monk myself.
[word of healing][dwayna's kiss][glyph of lesser energy][dismiss condition][cure hex][shield of absorption][Aegis][guardian]
And Myself:
[word of healing][protective spirit][glyph of lesser energy][dismiss condition][cure hex][reversal of fortune][Aegis][guardian]

Very solid builds, no question, but I do have a possible recommendation.
Since you and your hero monk are chaining Aegis (a GREAT thing to do in PvE, btw), do you really need two copies of Guardian? Maybe drop your Guardian for a second copy of Shield of Absorption instead. You can never have too many copies of SoA.
